Account information: Name, email address, password (hashed), company name (contractors), trade category, and billing information (processed by Stripe — we never store card numbers).
User content: Photos you upload for rendering, AI-generated renders, project details, and portal content.
Usage data: Pages viewed, features used, render count, portal interactions, device type, IP address, and referral source.
Cookies: Session cookies for authentication, preference cookies for settings, and analytics cookies (can be opted out).
2. How We Use Your Information
To provide and improve the Service, including AI rendering, portal hosting, and contractor matching. To process billing and prevent fraud. To communicate with you about your account, service updates, and (with consent) marketing. To generate anonymized, aggregated analytics for platform improvement. To improve our AI models using anonymized render data.
3. Photo & Render Data
Photos you upload are processed by our AI rendering engine and stored securely. We use anonymized photo and render data to improve our AI models. We do not sell your photos or renders to third parties. Contractor-created portal renders are shared only with the designated homeowner(s). You can request deletion of all your photos and renders at any time.
4. Sharing with Third Parties
We share data only with: payment processors (Stripe) for billing, cloud infrastructure providers for hosting, analytics tools for platform improvement, and contractors or homeowners through the portal feature (only data you choose to share). We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect safety.
5. Data Retention
Active account data is retained while your account is active. Deleted account data is purged within 30 days (except anonymized aggregate data). Free tier accounts inactive for 12+ months may be deleted with prior notice. Render data is retained for the life of the project unless you request deletion.
6. Your Rights
You can access, download, correct, or delete your personal data at any time from your account settings or by contacting [email protected]. California residents have additional rights under CCPA. EU residents have additional rights under GDPR. You can opt out of marketing communications at any time.
7. Security
We use industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256), regular security audits, and access controls. No system is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children's Privacy
The Service is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email. The "Last updated" date reflects the most recent revision.
